The MATYŠÁK Company

Thank to the exclusively own capital, winery traditions of family ancestors, tough, hard but at the same time honest work, during last years the Matyšák company has ranked among prominent wine producers in the Slovak Republic.
The Matyšák company belongs to the unofficially announced 7 wine princes, who are wine quality leaders in Slovakia. The company supports the level improvement of the wine drinking culture in Slovakia with all its activities and it also perfectly represents skills of our people in this field abroad.

The style Hotel Matyšák*** in Pražská street with 80 beds was opened. It is called a style hotel because its main centre is the wine restaurant (80 places) with a national cuisine.
This restaurant is directly connected to the archive wine cellar (ANNO 1904), 40 meters long, with the capacity of 45 thousand bottles of archive wines, own production from 1994.
Another typical wine restaurant – Vinum Galéria Bozen for 150 guests was opened in Pezinok, in our own, 300 years old winery house in Holuby street.

The Víno Matyšák, s.r.o. company extended its processing equipment /wine-press and containers with cooling /storage capacity, enabling a gentle wine processing and subsequently a quality sludging of musts.
To increase the quality of red wine maturing, in 2007 we are preparing a construction of new style rooms where red wines will be maturing in wooden and barrique barrels.
